What is there to do in and around Aberystwyth?

Aberystwyth and the surrounding area boasts some outstanding fishing. You can arrange to take one of the regular fishing trips into cardigan bay to fish for tope, fish for bass and mackrel from the numerous beaches or fish for rainbow and brown trout on the countless resevoirs in the area. With so much variety there is surely the days fishing that suits you.
Dolphin watching  
Cardigan bay sees may porpoise and dolphins return every summer. They can be seen all along the Aberystwyth coastline, playing and feeding in the surf. This is fabulous experience and one that can make your trip to Aberystwyth even better. Dolphin
Constitution hill, Cliff railway and Camera obscura  
Constitution hill is located on the northern most point of Aberystwyths North Beach. It gives the perfect vantage point to admire the town to the south and Clarch to the North. To enjoy the view from the top of constitution hill you can take the longest electric cliff railway in Britain. Also up constitution hill you will find the worlds largest camera obscura. Vale of Rheidol steam railway  
This narrow gauge steam railway offers breath taking views from Aberystwyth Train station all the way up Rheidol valley to Devils Bridge. The railway opened to the public in 1902 and was the last steam railway owned by British Railway before their privitisation in 1989. Steam railway
Borth Animalarium

Devils Bridge Falls  
Situated 12 miles in land from Aberystwyth these world famous waterfalls are a sight to be hold. There are two differnt walks available to view the natural feature, one around 10 minutes and the other around 45 minutes. This is a must see when visiting the area. Devils bridge falls
